One Series Ends; Another Begins (soon)

Hi, just a "heads up" that the next Brian Eno post, #10, will be the last in the series. I still have some Eno stuff that hasn't been posted, so it's certainly not the last we'll see of him on The Killing Moon. Meanwhile, I am busy preparing the next project: Scott Walker: The Series. This will also be 10 posts in length and will include a few recordings that do not seem to be available anywhere in cyberspace in a lossless format- stay tuned!

As with the Eno Series, I will be posting recordings from other artists in between the Scott Walker posts, so don't worry; it won't be all Scott Walker all the time.

  1. Picked up the first three Talking Heads albums for peanuts Wed. and I noticed it said produced by Brian Eno on all three. I would love to have the first Adrian Belew album in lossless. Big Electric Cat and Mawmer are classics.

  2. Hi Gurg Greegan, I considered posting one of those Talking Heads albums in the Eno series but couldn't find a way to fit it in; I wanted to keep the series at 10 posts. I'll look around for the Belew album

  3. I'm missing a few Scott Walker albums in lossless, so I'm looking forward to your posts.

  4. Melvillain, let me know which ones you are missing, so I can be sure to add them (if I have them) as I plan out the series

  5. I'm missing some mid-period stuff that I probably don't need to bother with, but I am a completist...Those would be: The Moviegoer (1972), Any Day Now (1973). No worries if you don't have them. Mainly what I'm looking for is the Pola X soundtrack (1999) and The Walker Brothers' Nite Flights (1978). Yes, I'm a Scott Walker dork. Thanks, voixautre! It's always good to meet another Scott Walker fan.

  6. Melvillain, I will be posting Nite Flights in FLAC during the series, which, to the best of my knowledge, isn't presently available in lossless. I might be able to get ahold of Pola X. The others I haven't seen, but I'll look around

  7. Melvillain, do you have 5 easy pieces in FLAC? If so, care to share?

  8. I was going to mention that in my earlier comment. I know it has some of the Pola X pieces on it. I do not have it though. Anything else you need, I'm your man.
