  1. damn, I knew you were talking about this, but glad you go through with the series. lanegan can sing about the political climate in 1743 indonesia and it would be awesome. his voice is like the most important instrument on his albums. love it.

  2. Philipp, I've just decided to go ahead and do all the things I've been putting off. Perhaps my new years resolution. I've got an early Screaming Trees slotted next for the Lanegan series, but what would you like to see after that. Totally agree on his voice- what an instrument!

  3. so far I have only lanegan's bubblegum and whiskey. both great records. I haven't listened to the screaming trees at all. so that's really appreciated too.

after that, maybe you're interested in doing a krautrock series? I'm really new to the genre and found so much good music here that I think you could make a very interesting series with it.

  4. Thanks V for suggesting I try this. I was not familiar with this artist's solo stuff.

  5. Philipp, you're welcome. I have many more Lanegan gems to share. A Kraut-Rock series sounds very intriguing, although my knowledge doesn't extend very far beyond the obvious names/albums. I'll research it and see what I can do

  6. you've already posted joy division and company, but I think a post-punk series would be great too. I guess you could even use the posts you already made and simply create a list with your favorite albums of the genre.
