Heaven 17- "Let Me Go" Video (1983)

One of the best and most underrated synth bands of the early eighties. Anyone know where they got their name?

  3. Always known by the real afficianados of "A Clockwork Orange". :) Weren't these guys B.E.F. too? I remember that release being interesting. When Human League split into two factions, the brain left the band and ended up here (in Heaven 17).

  8. I believe Heaven 17 is the milk bar hang-out in A Clockwork Orange. If memory serves, there's no mention of bands in the novel.

  9. wilfofhove, hi, that is actually the Korova milkbar. You are right though that the name Heaven 17 isn't mentioned in Burgess's novel. In the film during the record store scene, one of the devotchkas asked Alex who he's getting and one of the bands mentioned is Heaven 17
