Wednesday Week- "Why" Video (1987)

Here's a clip from one of the lesser-know Paisley bands, similar to The Bangles, but without the same level of mainstream ambition (which is a compliment)...on a side note, ever heard Mojo Nixon?

  1. Mojo Nixon and Skid Roper! Woo-Woot love his album with Jello Biafra of Dead Kennedys and spoken word frame. Commander just posted some blues goodies:

  2. I just found a bunch of those Mojo Nixon albums on a Russian torrent site. I'll start posting those on PPP soon. There is one called "A Punk Rock X-Mas" which has songs by Ramones, Dickies, Pansy Division, Nixon, The Damned, Stiff Little Fingers. I think I'll DL that one first. I need some Robert Johnson, thanks!

  3. Tryin' to track down some Generation X Billy Idol's band before solo career. I have many blues compilations the Guru let me copy. I'll dl and album then upload during the wait between being able to dl again. It is fun to post music forgot how much fun it is. Even if only 2 people dl it is 2 more to be exposed to quality music. {:o]

  6. I liked that video! But where's the bass? Two Fenders, a Strat, and a Telecaster, but no bass?

  7. scurfie, on the album I will be posting soon, Dave Provost of Dream Syndicate played bass. Not sure about what they did live, but I'm sure they had a bass player. Cudawaver actually saw them live, so I'll ask him
