It's been a long time since I've heard this track. 1983 was a good year for UK bands.
This is an excellent example of how a very solid melody can exist in a very minimal container. I forgot about the Dairy Queen hair, too right.

Good stuff. I used to see Alison Moyet down the local pubs in Basildon before she joined Yazoo - she was a big scary punk to my pale, thin hippyness.
