Wow, thank you for this. I've been looking for a copy under $40 for years. I discovered your blog accidentally about 3 days ago during a recent Paisley Underground binge when i googled some band names, and your site came up, a lot, and I've been discovering a ton of new (old) music. Thanks to you, Ive gotten about 2 hours of sleep the past couple days!
Jack Tripper, thank you for commenting. It brought a smile to my face. Readers like you are the reason I do this. Thanks! Please let me know if you have some requests
Cool! There's still a ton here to go thru, though. 28th Day is one of my new favorite bands because of this blog, so my only request would be more Cole Marquis. I just bought his post-28th Day band The Downsiders' '89 album, All My Friends Are Fish(lossy mp3s from Amazon, unfortunately), which is pretty awesome and really tripped-out. So if you haven't checked them out, I would. If you have, I could really go for their first self-titled LP from '87, but it seems extremely rare and vinyl-only from what I'd gathered. Anyway, keep up the good work and thanks again for expanding my horizons!
Hi voixautre, your blog is a recent (and life affirming) discovery. So much good music. Words fail me when trying to express my heartfelt gratitude for your work here.

ReplyDeleteJack Tripper, 28th day was a nice discovery for me too. I haven't heard Marquis' other stuff, so I'll see if I can search it out in lossless
