Elastica- "Stutter" Video (1995)

Let's take another trip down Brit-pop memory lane. Elastica: certainly not the most original band to ever grace a stage, but they were pretty fantastic at that Post-Punk revival stuff (and were so long before it was the trendy thing to do)

  1. So why is it the throw away "pop" from the UK is still miles above the dreck we had to listen to? I'm not saying Elastica isn't a great band, they are, but still they are considered "pop" in the UK. Here they would be headliners if they would have had radio air time.

  2. scurfie, I'm not sure they're any more "pop" than Blur, though I do see your point. The mid-nineties American scene was inundated with god-awful second-wave grunge. Outside of Pavement, WTF was happening here?

  3. I'm fan of 90s brit-pop, however annoying the name is. Will upload some good stuff at PPP soon.
I do have a request though: do you happen to have Ultrasound's "Everything Picture" 2CD version in FLAC? I only have the "shortened" 1CD version which ommitted a few tracks...

  4. leakingwater, I'll look around for the Ultrasound deluxe version. I feel like I've seen that somewhere, perhaps a private torrent site.
